This is an excellent option to see the best of Rio de Janeiro if time is limited. Two of the best tours combined to make one great day!

The tour begins as you head to the Cosme Velho station to catch the cog train for a journey through the dense Atlantic Rain Forest of Tijuca, and on to the statue of Christ Redeemer on Corcovado mountain. You will spend between 40 and 60 minutes here with your tour guide, who will show you the unforgettable sights of Rio. After the morning tour, relax and enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant.

In the afternoon, join the Sugar Loaf tour, driving by downtown Rio, with its fine colonial-style Portuguese buildings, and continuing on to the cable car at Praia Vermelha (red beach). A ride to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain gives the visitor a wonderful view of the city nestling between the mountains and the sea, and the sight of the sun going down over Copacabana beach is magical.

This tour starts on an afternoon, on to one of Rio's major Shopping Centers. There, you will find clothes, jewelry, and many other items at appealing prices. At night, we visit a tipical fair, where craftsman items are sold. Then we have an excellent dinner at one restaurant at Copacabana beach - enjoy the dish and the view!

Note: if this tour is taken on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday we may start earlier, and visit the crafstman fair first.

Guanabara Bay is the largest bay in the world, based on volume of water, and it has several islands such as the Governor's Island, Fundão and Snakes Island. While on this cruise, you can see the city of Rio de Janeiro to the west, and facing east, the city of Niteroi.

Beautiful colonial city, considered a National Historical Monument, it preserves until today its countless natural and architectural charms. Explore on foot the historical Center of Paraty, free of cars, and you will travel back in time, where walking has to be done in a leisurely pace due to the irregular rounded cobblestone pavement of its streets.
Its area comprises the National Park of Bocaina, the Environmental Protection Area of Cairuçu, where the village of Trindade is located, a place of rare beauty, the Park Reserve of Joatinga; it also has limits with the State Park of Serra do Mar. So, Paraty is surrounded everywhere by the Mata Atlantica, the luscious Atlantic Forest.
And yes - you will find a lot of beautiful islands with beaches, and many of the schooner cruises stop about three times for a swim. Bring your sunblock. Best of the best!

Bocaina - MG

We drive you and stay in Ouro Preto, a city well known for its architecture, which dates back to the 17th century. We visit The Church of Santa Efigenia, The Aleijadinho's Museum, The Church Our Lady of Pilar, The Church of Saint Francis of Assisi, The Mineralogy Museum, and The Opera House.

Then we drive to a nearby city, Mariana, to visit The Cathedral, The Sacred Art Museum, The Pillory, and we listen to The 17th Century Arp Schnitger Organ concert.
